Mourning Routine
PLOT: Two undead halves of a once-human whole: an uncoordinated zombie and a methodical ghost fumble their way through a domestic routine. Living with yourself isn’t easy—especially after you’re dead.

As one of the background artists, my role was to create the concepts of the background and finalize them in colour (or in this case B&W!)

To get a feel for the animation, I drew this initial sketch to figure out the tone and stylization that I wanted to depict in the backgrounds. I really enjoyed using blotchy geometric shapes to build the piece up!
